"We had a day that we will never forget in the company of a true gentleman"

We have nothing but good things to say about the Jauns - Real St Lucia Tour company. Following reading previous reviews on Trip
adviser we decided to contact Janus to organise a taxi from the airport. Right from the first contact the administration staff who
were e mailing us were prompt, very professional and could not be more
helpful in their advise.

We were met at the airport by a very courteous and helpful young man, Ewan, who not only drove us to our resort, but gave us a
guided tour of the route that we were taking, telling us about all aspects of island life as well as historical and geographical places of interest. We were staying in a self catering apartment on our
resort and had been told to try and get to a grocery store in the local town. 


We asked about this at the time of booking the taxi, and our driver stopped for us 10 minutes from our resort and gave us time to get some provisions. We were told that this would be included in the price of the taxi ride from the airport, and true to their word, we were charged no more for this service. We were very impressed that the company were going out of their way to accommodate us.

After a few days at our resort we contacted the Janus company again, as we had been told that they would organise a tour of the island. The tour included many different things, including a visit
to the volcano and mud baths, waterfalls and the botanical gardens. We were picked up promptly from our resort at 9am by a different driver, Danny. What a charming and informative young man yet again. The day lasted about 7.5 hours, and Danny made it clear from the outset that
we should tell him what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. This was a private tour in a very comfortable air conditioned vehicle. 


There were drinks provided during the day, and I think Danny kept talking and giving us information all the time that we were travelling from place to place. He was very well informed with a terrific sense of humour and let us know from the start of the tour that there would be an exam at the end!!! (There was, and we passed.) I don't think
Danny could have done anything else to make our day more special. We had a day that we will never forget in the company of a true gentleman.

We would highly recommend that if you are looking for a tour company in St Lucia, or just a taxi ride from the airport to your resort that you give the Janus team a call. In our opinion they would
be hard to beat, and we thought that they were very good value for money. We would give them 5 out of 5 for everything.
