We were very satisfied with the excursion arrangements and our guide. Our driver Curt (Kurt?) picked us up on time and delivered us back on time. Whenever we were ready, he was right there waiting. He was very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. I mentioned I was looking for a type of soap, and he found someone to bring me some. He bought water for us, and he also thought to ask whether anyone got carsick (me) and encouraged me to sit up front (a very good idea!). We had plans to rent a car in Barbados, so he gave us helpful advice on driving and explained some of the rules.

Jamal was our guide up and down Gros Piton. We enjoyed him so very much! He is such a likable young man, having every good quality one might imagine. He remained mindful of each one of us at all times. He pointed out the potential dangers and demonstrated (and encouraged) safety precautions at all times. Having two sons along of similar ages, we were interested in his daily life and activities, and he was interested in us as well. We made a fast friendship. We would have liked to have taken him home with us!
