Hi Elma--

We did very much enjoy our excursion yesterday! Eden (not sure if I spelled that right) was great. He made us feel safe while driving around and was very informative in pointing out things of interest along the way while telling us about life on the island. We did the botanical gardens, Tet Paul nature trail, the volcano/mud bath, and lunch at local restaurant.

One thing I appreciated with having a personal tour guide was not feeling so rushed or herded like cattle. Many of the other visitors we saw at the attractions came with larger groups and there was always someone yelling, "Bus number 7! Two minutes!" Eden let us take our time to make sure we were getting the most out of our day.

When we asked about whether there was a place on the island where we could buy some local chocolate, he called and made arrangements for us to stop by Hotel Chocolat and even let us put the chocolate we purchased in his cooler so it wouldn't melt.

We also appreciated all the pictures he took for us (especially at the mud bath where we wouldn't have been able to get them ourselves).
Overall, we were highly satisfied with the service and pleased with the price we paid, considering it was much less expensive than the tour company at our resort and more flexible. We've already recommended it to some other couples we've met here. :)
