As we waited for our ride, Isaac came down the street smiling and honking 4 times making us laugh!

​On a recommendation, I contacted St. Lucia Airport Shuttle for an airport pick up. The owner, Janus, was very prompt with email responses and was very helpful giving ideas for things to do and see.

When we arrived in St. Lucia, we were met by a polite, young man who drove us to our hotel destination in Marigot Bay. He was friendly and very informative regarding the island and his life. The experience was so pleasant that we contacted Janus the next morning to book an island tour.
Within a half an hour, a second young man, Isaac, met us to show us around.
He asked where we wanted to go and we said take us to the best places! We had fun talking and laughing with him, learning about his island home and his life. Isaac showed us a banana plantation, Anse La Ray fishing village, Canaries fishing village, views of the Pitons, lunch in Soufriere, Tet Paul Nature Trail and the Morne Coubaril Estate. My personal favorite was Tet Paul trail with its majestic views of the Pitons.

Lunch was a fun experience. We asked Isaac to take us to one of HIS favorite spots. We ended up at small restaurant off the beaten road that we would never have noticed or gone to. We asked him to order for the three of us and we had wonderful Chicken Roti!

During our day we noticed that Isaac would acknowledge a passing friend with a honk or two of the horn. One friend got 4 honks and we teased him that must have been a very good friend. When he dropped us back off in Marigot Bay, he left with a huge smile and 4 honks! 

My friend and I then went on a 6 day sailboat trip. We had told Isaac that we hoped to see him again when we need our ride back to the airport. As we waited for our ride, Isaac came down the street smiling and honking 4 times making us laugh! On the way to the airport, he took us to Castries and we saw the market place.

During our visit to St. Lucia, we used the St. Lucia Airport Shuttle three times and were very pleased. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!
