St Lucia Weather

St Lucia is a Caribbean island nation known for its tropical climate, which is characterized by warm temperatures, high humidity, and consistent trade winds. The island has two distinct seasons: a dry season from December to May, and a wet season from June to November.

During the dry season, the island experiences mostly sunny weather with occasional scattered showers. The temperatures during this time of year typically range from the low 80s to the low 90s Fahrenheit (27-32°C) during the day, and the upper 70s to the low 80s Fahrenheit (24-28°C) at night.

The wet season brings more frequent and heavier rainfall, but the showers usually do not last long and usually happen during the afternoon. Even during the wet season, it is still possible to experience sunny days, but the temperatures are slightly lower. The temperatures during this time of year typically range from the upper 70s to the low 80s Fahrenheit (24-28°C) during the day, and the upper 70s to the low 80s Fahrenheit (24-28°C) at night.

Regardless of the season, the island is warm and sunny, with trade winds blowing most of the time, making the weather comfortable for tourists.

Hurricane season is from June to November, and although the chance of a direct hit is low, it's important to keep an eye on the forecast if visiting during this time.

Overall, St. Lucia's weather is ideal for visitors looking to relax on the beach, hike through lush rainforests, or enjoy outdoor activities such as snorkeling, diving and sailing.
