Joshua: I enjoyed it because it was somewhat educational whilst we were having fun. The view at the top of the Tet Paul Trail was extraordinary. The tour guide we had was very funny and excited. Our information was very in depth. There were many new things I learned that I didn’t know about our island’s history. Veacha: I had such an amazing time on the tour. I did so many things that I hadn’t done before: like the bud baths, the Tet Paul Trail and took a picture with a snake! Although I got really car sick throughout, I managed to put up with it. The tour guide was also an added bonus because of his funny jokes and knowledge. I’d definitely do another tour with the same lovely group of people. Trish: The tour was awesome and fun-filled! The only bad situation was that car sickness caught me. Besides the car sick part, our tour guide, was funny and educated. He explained all the historical stories in a very simple and interesting way and we visited so many places. I adored when we climbed ‘Stairway to Heaven’; the beautiful view caught everyone’s attention. We took many glamorous pictures and I will remember these memories forever. Aliya: I enjoyed this trip, especially going to the Tet Paul Trail and going up the Stairway to Heaven and being able to see the two Pitons so high up. I liked when we stopped at the beach and we were jumping off the dock and taking pictures. I liked stopping at the Sulphur Springs, which was really nice because I hadn’t been there in a long time. I really liked our tour guide; he was really funny and every time he started to speak, his phone rang. Jasmine: The tour of St. Lucia was way interesting and I saw and learned quite a few new things. I enjoyed most of the tour and my favorite part of it was the Tet Paul Nature Trail. The view was lovely and all the plants were very beautiful. I learned quite a bit about the plants in St. Lucia. I think next time we have a trip like that, we should organize and use our time more wisely because we went over time. But overall, I enjoyed the trip. Isabelle: The tour of St. Lucia was a very enjoyable tour, which was both a learning and fun experience. The tour guide, Sean, was great and had such interesting things to talk about. I also really loved how great the bus driver Felix was, as I did not feel the least bit car sick. Both the mud bath and the nature trail were spectacular stops. Even Anse La Raye and getting the cassava bread were fun. Altogether, the tour was very entertaining and good just the way it was. Daniela: When we went on the tour of St. Lucia, we visited many interesting and unique places. The first one we went to was Sr. Arthur Lewis Community College. There we saw the different areas of the school, along with where Sr. Arthur Lewis is buried. We then took lots of pictures in front of a huge tree that is at the school. After that we went to Tet Paul Trail where we hiked for roughly 20 minutes. We also went to the Sulphur Springs and took a mud bath. Lastly, we went to the beach and swam a lot. The experience was interesting and fun overall. Ricardo: I found the tour of St. Lucia fun, with all the places we visited and all the pictures we took. I didn’t enjoy the bus ride that much because I got a bit nauseous. I enjoyed the hiking and sightseeing. In the end, I found the whole trip fun and really great. Natalya: When our class did a St. Lucia tour, I thought it was really enjoyable, but there were some things that could have been better. We could have left earlier, because our time in Soufriere was rushed. Overall, my favorite thing was the Sulphur Springs and the beach, and because of those places, the day was very fun. Annika: The tour of St. Lucia was really fun and exciting but what I really didn’t like was the mud bath because I don’t like the thought of bathing in mud. My favourite part was the beach and when we were jumping in the water. I loved it. Nicolas: It was an awesome field trip! I learned quite a lot of new things about our beautiful island, St. Lucia. St. Lucia has so many different unique things that I cannot see all in one trip, so that’s why I really enjoyed doing things I’ve never done such as the mud baths and the Tet Paul Trail. I hope we can do such a trip once again. Kelci: The tour was fun and relaxing, but it was also quite long. The places we stopped at were quite interesting, mainly because of background history. The Tet Paul Trail was a long hike, but showed some interesting facts about St. Lucia. Great views of the Pitons were also on the trail. We ‘touched the top’ of them, and went to the beach to conclude our adventure. Teacher Caton-Green: The International School of St. Lucia went on a tour led by Real St. Lucia Tours and it was awesome! I enjoyed the bus ride, which was equipped with a mic system that could be heard quite well. The recommended places were awesome and the information and funny insights gained from the tour guide, Shawn, were greatly appreciated. Areas of improvement would be the lunch arrangement. We pre-ordered but still ended up waiting about 30 minutes because the time that we had planned to eat wasn’t established in the morning. Additionally, since it was a group of mainly students, there were times that I thought we were going a little fast. Overall, the trip was amazing and the students all had a lot of fun while learning!
