Janus We were thrilled with our tour. Marshall was very knowledgeable and interesting, and we learned many great facts about the island -- not to mention a great and safe driver. He was very attentive to our needs and was always close by. As for the tour itself, without mentioning the stops which I'm sure u know about -- we enjoyed them all. If was perfect but we were able to personalize it just a bit more by skipping the botanical gardens and enjoying more time at Sugar Beach Hoping to have Marshall complete our vacation by being our driver back to the airport on Friday. Thank you Sybil "I was embarrassed that I had no more dollars to give him a tip- but very much wanted to."5/10/2016
A tremendous service- faultless. I am so impressed by both drivers, and the whole service. We have already recommended you to friends- and will be coming back, so will of course be in touch. I was especially impressed with Colin who drove is back to the airport, and took so much care of us- with our daughter asleep in the back of the car. He drove beautifully, adjusted temperature for us, enquired of our comfort- and was charming. I was embarrassed that I had no more dollars to give him a tip- but very much wanted to. Again- many thanks indeed, special thanks to Colin and we will see you again! Ian Joshua: I enjoyed it because it was somewhat educational whilst we were having fun. The view at the top of the Tet Paul Trail was extraordinary. The tour guide we had was very funny and excited. Our information was very in depth. There were many new things I learned that I didn’t know about our island’s history. Veacha: I had such an amazing time on the tour. I did so many things that I hadn’t done before: like the bud baths, the Tet Paul Trail and took a picture with a snake! Although I got really car sick throughout, I managed to put up with it. The tour guide was also an added bonus because of his funny jokes and knowledge. I’d definitely do another tour with the same lovely group of people. Trish: The tour was awesome and fun-filled! The only bad situation was that car sickness caught me. Besides the car sick part, our tour guide, was funny and educated. He explained all the historical stories in a very simple and interesting way and we visited so many places. I adored when we climbed ‘Stairway to Heaven’; the beautiful view caught everyone’s attention. We took many glamorous pictures and I will remember these memories forever. Aliya: I enjoyed this trip, especially going to the Tet Paul Trail and going up the Stairway to Heaven and being able to see the two Pitons so high up. I liked when we stopped at the beach and we were jumping off the dock and taking pictures. I liked stopping at the Sulphur Springs, which was really nice because I hadn’t been there in a long time. I really liked our tour guide; he was really funny and every time he started to speak, his phone rang. Jasmine: The tour of St. Lucia was way interesting and I saw and learned quite a few new things. I enjoyed most of the tour and my favorite part of it was the Tet Paul Nature Trail. The view was lovely and all the plants were very beautiful. I learned quite a bit about the plants in St. Lucia. I think next time we have a trip like that, we should organize and use our time more wisely because we went over time. But overall, I enjoyed the trip. Isabelle: The tour of St. Lucia was a very enjoyable tour, which was both a learning and fun experience. The tour guide, Sean, was great and had such interesting things to talk about. I also really loved how great the bus driver Felix was, as I did not feel the least bit car sick. Both the mud bath and the nature trail were spectacular stops. Even Anse La Raye and getting the cassava bread were fun. Altogether, the tour was very entertaining and good just the way it was. Daniela: When we went on the tour of St. Lucia, we visited many interesting and unique places. The first one we went to was Sr. Arthur Lewis Community College. There we saw the different areas of the school, along with where Sr. Arthur Lewis is buried. We then took lots of pictures in front of a huge tree that is at the school. After that we went to Tet Paul Trail where we hiked for roughly 20 minutes. We also went to the Sulphur Springs and took a mud bath. Lastly, we went to the beach and swam a lot. The experience was interesting and fun overall. Ricardo: I found the tour of St. Lucia fun, with all the places we visited and all the pictures we took. I didn’t enjoy the bus ride that much because I got a bit nauseous. I enjoyed the hiking and sightseeing. In the end, I found the whole trip fun and really great. Natalya: When our class did a St. Lucia tour, I thought it was really enjoyable, but there were some things that could have been better. We could have left earlier, because our time in Soufriere was rushed. Overall, my favorite thing was the Sulphur Springs and the beach, and because of those places, the day was very fun. Annika: The tour of St. Lucia was really fun and exciting but what I really didn’t like was the mud bath because I don’t like the thought of bathing in mud. My favourite part was the beach and when we were jumping in the water. I loved it. Nicolas: It was an awesome field trip! I learned quite a lot of new things about our beautiful island, St. Lucia. St. Lucia has so many different unique things that I cannot see all in one trip, so that’s why I really enjoyed doing things I’ve never done such as the mud baths and the Tet Paul Trail. I hope we can do such a trip once again. Kelci: The tour was fun and relaxing, but it was also quite long. The places we stopped at were quite interesting, mainly because of background history. The Tet Paul Trail was a long hike, but showed some interesting facts about St. Lucia. Great views of the Pitons were also on the trail. We ‘touched the top’ of them, and went to the beach to conclude our adventure. Teacher Caton-Green: The International School of St. Lucia went on a tour led by Real St. Lucia Tours and it was awesome! I enjoyed the bus ride, which was equipped with a mic system that could be heard quite well. The recommended places were awesome and the information and funny insights gained from the tour guide, Shawn, were greatly appreciated. Areas of improvement would be the lunch arrangement. We pre-ordered but still ended up waiting about 30 minutes because the time that we had planned to eat wasn’t established in the morning. Additionally, since it was a group of mainly students, there were times that I thought we were going a little fast. Overall, the trip was amazing and the students all had a lot of fun while learning! Hi Janus I hope you’re well? I wanted to drop you a quick line to say a BIG thank to Jamal (I hope that’s how you spell his name) for our special return visit to St. Lucia. I think we saw more of the ‘Real’ St. Lucia in one day with Jamal then we did 10 years ago on 2 week honeymoon. I was a little nervous booking a tour separate to our cruise excursions, I needn’t have been! Amazing day reliving some great memories. Jamal was an excellent host, knowledgable, polite and great with our 3 year son, Finley, who still talks fondley about Jamal now. Here a couple snaps that we took, thank you once again. The Snuggs Family, England "I must have given Your tour name out to ten cruisers! It was the highlight of our 10 day cruise!"5/5/2016
Dear Janus, just wanted to tell you that we had the most terrific tour with your wonderful Hygeinus ! What a class act! Would love to put a review on your site! I must have given Your tour name out to ten cruisers! It was the highlight of our 10 day cruise! Hygeinus also said you rent villas also! We might be interested in the future! After your tour none can compare! Your ethics are very rare these days. Can't wait to view all the pictures! Send me anything you have on vacation rentals on the carribean side of the island! Thank you , Carol Dear Travellers, I have been googling out many tourist companies before my travel to Saint Lucia. But I found that “Real St. Lucia“ service is the cheapest and best. They give airport transfers at lowest cost and also they offer service for sight seeing and island tour. I will tell my end to end experience with them here. I'm really very glad to write a review for them because I was 200% satisfied with their service. Before my travel I had made many enquiries, I got Quick and precise response from Janus. 5 Days trip to St Lucia-West Indies: Day 1 - “Real St. Lucia” provided me Airport transfer to my hotel (Marigot Bay Dive resort) for the cheapest price compared to Solar Tours and Travels and Barefoot Holidays. Day 2 - Pigeon Island and proper guidelines for the entire trip Day 3 - Soufriere (Beautiful place in the island with many places to visit We visited Ted Paul, Sulphur Spring (my most favorite) and Waterfalls. Day 4 - Hiking the piton (full day event). I didnt like it because it was not worth it :( Day 5 - Return transfer from my resort to airport. For the above agenta, Mr.Janes gave me the best possible discount and made my journey a very comfortable one. I must say one thing here, My tour guide - Mr.Marshal. He is the best guide i had ever seen and he was very friendly and very polite and we liked his guidance to the core. As a whole, if you are planning for St.Lucia vacation, you can close your eyes and choose Real St. Lucia Ramya Hi Janus We had a great day, I think we were a challenge for Jamal as we had done the tour before and did not want to do the same things. However he was up for the challenge showing us things like the rum distillery and we stopped for cassava bread, which was delicious. The beautiful fishing villages and the spectacular views (we had forgotten just how beautiful St Lucia is). We spent the afternoon at Sugar beach for lunch and snorkeling which is what we wanted to do, so we had a perfect day to spend our anniversary and my husband's birthday. The car was very comfortable and Jamal was very professional and friendly. We have been recommending you to everyone we meet when they want to do any type of tour as you do such a good job. Thanks again Tracie & Carl While in St Lucia for a cruise stop we booked the Island Expo tour with Realsaintluciatours.com and were very impressed and highly recommend this tour!! A quick email to Janus with an even faster reply and we were booked very easily! We were greeted by our tour guide, Richard just outside the cruise port area waiting for us with a sign with my name on it. My wife and I fully expected there would be others joining us and were delighted we learned we had our own private tour with Richard, a native St Lucian, in a late model fully loaded SUV complete with sun roofs which helped us soak in the beautiful countryside sights. The tour was totally customizeable so after we told Richard what we wanted to see he took care of the rest! A stop for rum tasting got the tour started on the right foot and it only got better from there! Richard seemed to know everyone we passed and provided excellent commentary of the sights along the way. At the waterfall stop Richard used his connections to get us right into the waterfall for as long as we liked while loaded tour vans had to wait and whose passengers only had enough time under the falls to get a quick picture taken. Having a private guide for this stop alone was worth well worth the price of the whole tour! Off to three secluded hot mineral pools for as long as we liked and then to a local restaurant for a taste of the local cuisine completed the tour before we headed back to the boat in plenty of time. The length of the Island Expo private tour was about 6 hours and the cost was $75 a person and was well worth it especially hearing others from the cruise paid the same only to be crammed in a van for the day! Definitely recommend booking your own St Lucia tour through this company rather than taking the excursion tours offered by the boat for a real personable and amazing experience!! Will definitely hook up with Richard from Realsaintluciatours.com the next time we're in St Lucia!! Keep up the great work Janus and Richard!!! Tx Bruce and Gillian |
